Exit County Road off of 90 stop on the exit ramp. We received notification that their are concrete barriers now blocking the embankment. You can also go to the other side and play in all the mud you want to. Directions : Go north on the Hardy Toll rd, when you go through the toll booth the first exit is Louetta/Aldine Westfield, take that exit when you come to the light you turn left, that road is Aldine Westfield. You will go under the toll road and continue straight. When you come to the T in the road you will take a left go about 100 feet and take a right. If you cross the RR tracks then you missed the right turn. When you make the right turn you are on Rilley Fuzzel Road, you will go straight. Go almost to the end of the road you will see a sign that says "Creek Parking $10" Turn right into the driveway, Stop by the office, say HI!, sign in & pay to park! General Sams is nestled in 705 acres of pine forest. With in General Sams there are 40+ miles of trails for Jeeps, A.T.V's, Trucks , and any other off road vehicle you bring. There are 6 creeks crossing the property at various locations, and a swamp area for the brave ones. West of the camp area General Sams has a competition area. Completion area includes drags, sand drags, mud bog, and other obstacles. For more information on competitions please check with the forums completion area or check the front page for upcoming events. Most weekends we have a barbecue concession stand open. Charlie's lip smackin bar-b-cue is open til 8 pm most weekends. Turn right (North) on HWY 75 and go 5 miles *. Turn left on Bishop Road and go 1 mile. The Red Gate will be open. * landmark--( from Houston ) At the top of the hill right before you get to Bishop Road, there will be a huge stone the size of a jeep on the right hand side of HWY 75. Bishop Road is 1/4 mile on the left from that point.

About Splendora Motocross Park Splendora Motocross Park, located north of Houston in Splendora TX, originally began as San Jacinto Cycle Park _ owned, built and managed by the Favor family. In late June of 2006, the facilities were purchased by Antonio Pacheco of New Jersey. As the father of a national quad motocross racer, "Tony" wanted a place where his son and friends could ride their quads and dirt bikes, training throughout the year on an awesome track in a family-oriented atmosphere. After riding the track at Splendora, they wanted it. With the assistance of Dee and Michele Manshack, friends of the Favors who have extensive experience with the track as well as racing on a local and national level, Tony purchased the facilities and hired Michele as its manager. They immediately began purchasing heavy equipment and making plans to create Splendora Motocross Park _ the best facility available for families to have fun in the dirt! Whether you race dirt bikes or quads (motocross, cross country or drags) _ or don't even race at all, but just like to ride or let your kids ride _ Splendora Motocross Park is the place to bring your family and friends for camping and recreational fun.
